Hi I'm Euniqua Wade! The owner and creator of Euniqua Gifted Hands. Though my path to hair care came out of a need to survive, I have loved it for as long as I could remember. Growing up in foster care, I had to learn how to take care of a lot of things on my own, including my appearance. So, I started braiding my own hair. After some time, the other girls in my group home began asking me to braid their hair as well. It later became apart of the therapeutic program through a reward system and to my surprise, I began getting paid. Yes! Just like that, my business was born out of a need that usually comes naturally for most little girls, having my hair combed and cared for. Aging out of the system, going away to college, facing life's challenges, exploring other careers, and moving to another state, I've lived and been to many places but braiding has always been home.
I have a cumulative work experience of 17+ years of braiding with 7 years of specialty services. To improve and increase my knowledge, refine my artistry and expand my skill set, I continuously participate in education classes, training and workshops, in order to offer my clients the most valuable and rewarding experience.
It is my belief that healthy hair and great styling can coexist. I look forward to helping you create a healthy hair journey.
